Dr. Noor Al Busaidi completed her Internal Medicine Residency Program as well as her Endocrinology Fellowship at the George Washington Medical Center and Veterans Affairs Medical Center in Washington DC, United States of America. She graduated from Sultan Qaboos University Medical School in Oman.
Since 2004 she worked as a Senior Consultant Physician at the Royal Hospital of Oman. Additionally, she was the Head of Endocrinology & Diabetes Department at the Royal Hospital of Oman from 2007 until 2010 and the Chairperson of the Clinical Audit Committee from 2008 to 2010. From 2010 until present, Dr. Al Busaid has been appointed as the Chairperson of the National Diabetes Management Service Development Committee at the Ministry of Health of Oman. Furthermore, Dr. Al Busaidi is the founder and president of the Oman Diabetes Association and a member of the American Association for Clinical Endocrinology and American Diabetes Association.
She was involved in the Oman Medical Specialty Board as assistant program director for 3 years, program director for 2 year and as chairmen of internal medicine residency program for 2 years. Dr. Al Busaidi has been a keynote speaker and a lecturer at many national and international conferences. Hiske Smart is an advanced nurse practitioner for specialist wound care and hyperbaric services, working in the Kingdom of Bahrain at the King Hamad American Mission Hospital. She is responsible for hospital- wide skin injury prevention and managing the ambulatory Wound care unit with an attached Hyperbaric oxygen therapy unit. She completed her nursing studies in South Africa to Masterās degree level. Specialization followed in obtaining the Postgraduate Diploma in Wound Healing and Tissue Repair at the University of Cardiff (UK) in 1999, and the International Interprofessional Wound Care course at the University of Toronto (Canada) in 2008, both cum laude.
She is recognized in South Africa by the South African Undersea and Hyperbaric Medical Society in 2010 for her role in establishing hyperbaric oxygen therapy as interprofessional modality. The University of the Free State honored her with an Alumni award in 2014 for advancing the field of nursing and serving as a nurse ambassador on international level. Her work with the Wound Healing Association of Southern Africa further led to advanced wound care training as a requirement into main stream wound care practice in South Africa.
The World Union of Wound Healing Societies (WUWHS) recognized her work done in Bahrain, where an advanced wound care unit supported by Hyperbaric Oxygen therapy with accreditation status from JCI and SAUHMA, was established from 2013 onwards at the King Hamad University Hospital. That clinical team was awarded with recognition as an International Advanced Centre of Clinical Wound Care Excellence. Since 2010 she is teaching faculty for the International Interprofessional Wound Care Course in Toronto and Abu Dhabi under the auspice of the Universities of Toronto and Queens in Canada, and the current president of the International Interprofessional Wound Care Group (IIWCG). Sara Farooq is a physical therapist and co-founder of Physiobay Physiotherapy Center. She completed her Bachelor's degree in physiotherapy from Northumbria University- UK in 1993, she worked in the Military Hospital of Bahrain Defence Force for twenty years. Throughout her career, she earned a Master's in Quality Management with a 1st degree honours from the National University of Ireland in 2013. She earned the degree of Doctorate in Physical Therapy with high honours in 2019 from the University of St. Augustine USA. Sara was a board member of the Bahrain Physical Therapy Association from 2019 until 2023.
Ms. Nayla Aldoseri is a podiatrist working at King Hamad University Hospital (KHUH). In 2018, Ms. Nayla graduated from Queen Margaret University in Edinburgh, UK with a BSc. Hons in Podiatry and immediately began her journey as a podiatrist at King Hamad University Hospital (KHUH).

Dr. Chaitanya Kodange is a distinguished medical professional and a graduate of the Armed Forces Medical College (AFMC), Pune. He began his career in the Indian Navy, where he served with distinction as a Submarine Medical Officer. During his tenure, he also qualified as a Ships Diver Officer and Skydiver.

Mrs. Aisha Al Mahrazi is a leading Diabetic Foot and Wound Care Specialist with over 20 years of clinical and educational experience in the management of diabetic foot complications and chronic wounds. She began her nursing career after graduating in 1997, and has since specialized in wound care, completing the International Interprofessional Wound Care Course (IIWCC) from the University of Toronto in 2009, and earning her MSc in Skin Integrity Skills and Management from the University of Hertfordshire in 2014.
In 2003, Mrs. Al Mahrazi established the first diabetic foot service in Oman at Bousher Polyclinic, where she continues to serve as the in-charge of the diabetic foot clinic. Her pioneering efforts contributed significantly to the expansion of diabetic foot services across Oman, with 24 clinics now operating nationwide. Since 2007, she has played a central role in national training programs on diabetic foot and wound care, training healthcare providers in both urban and rural settings.
She is an active member of the Oman Diabetic Foot Committee, Vice President of the Gulf Diabetic Foot Working Group (GDFWG), and the Sultanate of Omanās representative in the International Working Group on the Diabetic Foot (IWGDF). Mrs. Al Mahrazi has served as a speaker and organizer in numerous national and international conferences, including the Gulf Diabetic Foot Conference and Global Diabetic Foot Courses.

Raed M. Alkhattab is a Certified Prosthetist and Orthotist with nearly four decades of experience in clinical care, enablement management, and P&O technology. He is the Managing Director of the OBK Centre for Prosthetics & Orthotics in Amman and a PhD candidate in Rehabilitation Management. Eng. Alkhattab previously served as Senior Clinical Director at the Royal Medical Services of Jordan, retiring as a Lieutenant Colonel. Ms. Al-Jahmi brings over 13 years of diverse clinical and leadership experience, specializing in hyperbaric oxygen therapy, advanced wound care, and stoma management. She holds a Master of Science in Nursing (2018) from the Royal College of Surgeons in Ireland ā Bahrain (RCSI), where she also earned her Bachelor of Science in Nursing (2010).
Her clinical credentials are both national and international in scope. In 2012, she received certification in Monoplace Chamber Operation and Hyperbaric Medicine from the South African Undersea and Hyperbaric Medical Association (SAUHMA) and Diving and Hyperbaric Medicine from DNA-SA. She further expanded her expertise in Multiplace Chamber Operations through IHC Hytech, Netherlands, in 2014. In addition, Dr. Dhafer serves as the Chairman of the Institutional Review Board at the Royal Medical Services Hospitals, a position he has occupied since November 2023. His responsibilities here include managing diabetic foot complications, overseeing clinical research, and leveraging his expertise in vascular specialty. Dr. Dhafer professional journey is supported by a strong educational foundation. He completed his General Surgery Residency at McGill University in Montreal, Quebec, and pursued a Vascular Surgery Fellowship Program at the University of British Columbia in Vancouver, British Columbia.
